Associates in Kinleining
Jeanette Tedesco, PhD, CPK, LPC

Dr. Jeanette Tedesco has a background in nursing, counseling, education, and kinleining. She has maintained a private kinlein practice in Waterbury since 1987. Kinleining is a professional practice in the field of applied philosophy that uses philosophical principles such as observing truth, justice and charity to assist persons in day-to-day living. A positive focus builds on an individual’s strengths e.g., problem-solving, coping skills, goal setting, values while working through issues pertaining to life e.g., interpersonal relationships, health issues, sexuality matters, work and spiritual growth.

Dr. Tedesco is a professor emeritus at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury where she served as the director of The Institute for Holistic Health Studies and taught a variety of health-related courses, supervised school and community health education majors, She is the Past President of the CT Association for School Health, the Sex Information and Education Council of CT and has served on numerous state and national committees. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the CT Holistic Health Association.

Dr. Tedesco’s post-doctoral research has been concentrated in the study of the theory of esca, a unified theory which focuses on viewing that “moving power” within each human being from a holistic (mind-body-spirit) perspective.
