Carol O'Toole as they present "Mind Body Approach to Aging
with Asian Medicine." Learn how acupuncture or herbs can
help slow down the aging clock and will cover basic history
of Asian Medicine, Western Medicine vs Asian Medicine - a different
paradigm, Holistic Psycho-spiritual components to healing, discussing
specific diseases and their treatment. This is a great lecture
for those new to Asian medicine and veterans alike. This event
is free to CHHA members and $5 for non-members.

Greater Litchfield Branch invites you
and your whole family to join us at White Memorial Conservation
Center in Litchfield to wander the trails to observe and experience
the waking earth of April. Rosemari Roast, herbalist and healer
will lead the walk while offering and inviting inspirational
observations of nature. This is a great opportunity for children
of all ages to experience the natural world that supports and
sustains us all in the most amazing ways!

Litchfield Branch Director, along with our branch program coordinator,
Janet Johnson will be sharing with our Litchfield area community
all that CHHA has to offer to its members, and to the Connecticut
community who seeks the support and services that our membership
offers. All are welcome to this kick-off event! There will be
time for tea, networking, socializing and exploring how folks
can get involved in CHHA and our vision as we plan for and move
into 2006.
We also invite our community to join us at the Holistic Practitioner's
Gatherings that take place on the first Friday of every month
on 9:30 AM at Hannah's Bakery, 21 Main St. in Torrington. Upcoming
gatherings: October 7th, November 2nd and December 2nd.
